C# Architect
A while ago (with a little help) I threw together some performance stats for my employer.
Reverseblade (IRC.freenode.net / ##csharp) published them on his blog here.

I test fannkuch(shootout.alioth.debian.org/.../benchmark.php benchmark on my computer. c#net3.5sp1 33s mono2.2(win) 1:22s mono2.2(debian) 1:10s In your benchmark, fannkuch mono is as fast as c#net3.5sp1. I don't know why I cant get same result. Could you give some advice?

I would assume a different hardware setup. The test machine was specific to the client who required the bench marks. My own machine gives results where Mono and .NET are closer in performance, however .NET is still faster. Benchmarks can be subjective.

Those programs seem to be taken from http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/ Did you re-implement them all yourself or did you copy the license agreement onto your machine along with the source code?

Yes many of them were, although many of those were re-implemented because we knew better ways to get higher performance. Yes I did copy the license. However when the job was finished, it was all archived (including the license) and handed over. Erm... Why?

My name is Matt and I am the current tenant of this small corner of the internet. I mostly architect, design and prototype applications that use .NET with C# and a little C++/CLI for Enterprise although I am aware of and enjoy fully embracing Java based solutions and alternatives such as Mono/Linux.
I have worked on projects ranging from small tools to large distributed real-time Enterprise systems ranging from EPOS and real-time/JIT stock management systems, to distributed applications for National/International Utility, Healthcare, Insurance and Finance in the private sector in both the USA and the EU.
